Matt Loeb

Matt Loeb joined the AIP team in June 2020 and is currently serving in the capacity of Chief Transformation Officer, with a primary focus on execution of the organization’s Strategic Framework and Capabilities Model necessary to achieve its AIP-2025 vision.

Matt is a digital savvy, strategic and purpose-driven executive and board director with over 30 years of global leadership experience. He has served as CEO of SECURE, the Biomedical Engineering Society, and ISACA. He also concurrently held the positions of Staff Executive of the IEEE and Executive Director of the IEEE Foundation. His breadth of professional experience spans strategy, technology, product development, global operations, marketing, and public affairs.

Matt holds a patent for the cybersecurity industry’s first enterprise-wide assessment tool providing measurable assurance to Boards and C-Suites on an organization’s resilience to cyberattacks. He sits on several public, private and advisory boards. He is certified in the Governance of Enterprise Information and Technology (CGEIT) and as a Certified Association Executive (CAE). He is also a certified executive coach.

Matt received his MBA from the Edinburgh Business School. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Association Executives, a Board Leadership Fellow of the National Association of Corporate Directors, and a Research Fellow of the MIT Center for Information Systems Research.
